Tom Reimel

Thomas W. Reimel, a cum laude graduate of Western Michigan University Law School, has clerked for the Honorable William P. Mahon in the Westchester (PA) Court of Common Pleas and was the in-house trial and appellate brief writer for the only personal injury and admiralty firm in Philadelphia. While in Philadelphia, he litigated a broad spectrum of personal injury matters ranging from a case of first impression under the state’s Equine Activities Act to products liability. Since relocating to New York, his primary focus has been transportation and automobile litigation, as well as premises liability.

Fighting for the underdog

From his first legal internship as a Public Defender fresh out of law school, Mr. Reimel has been dedicated to the rights of people who have been dealt a raw deal. He has spent more than 15 years fighting for injured people and advocating for victims.

Mr. Reimel believes in the power of the justice system to equally defend the rights of people, regardless of background, race, religion, or gender.

When not pursuing justice for clients and battling insurance companies, Mr. Reimel enjoys endurance motor racing in a vintage Triumph Sports car he helped modify and volunteers to coach speech and debate.
